Ski East Coast What Is The Best Ski Resort On The East Coast?

What is the best ski resort on the East coast? - ski east coast

I went to Winterplace, WV several times, but I am looking for another / better on the East Coast. Somewhere a little difficult with a good medium / short would be great. I want to Vermont to find a better ski? Thanks

Bellayre
Gore
Whiteface largest vertical in the East

You do not go to Vermont, but they are places up there:

Stratton
Mount Snow
Okemo
Jay Peak
Stowe

In PC, it would be good for Elk or Blue Mountain.

In the Catskill Mountains, NY: Windham, Hunter, Belleayre.

For longer distances and higher quality for your money:

NY The Adirondacks: Gore and Whiteface.

In VT: Stratton, Okemo, Mt.Snow, Killington, Sugarbush, Stowe, Smuggler's Notch Peak.

All these places have a very good combination of intermediate and expert slopes easy. The Pocono and Catskill resorts are not the best multi-day ski pass, just because they are smaller and you can of top ski resorts in less than 3 minutes down.

The east and Willie D of the mark with their beaks.

I want to add:

NH May, you want to try Loon, Bretton Woods, Attitash Bear peak or Lynx. Bretton Woods I was with, because they (the foot of canopy / zip line open in winter) and the Mount Washington Hotel. Lynx has beautiful views of Mount Washington and Tuckerman Ravine. Loon often full, but a long way.

In me there are Sunday River and Sugarloaf. Sunday in Rio is one of my favorites. Sugarloaf snowfields, where skiing above the tree line.

Intrawest is a ski area very well and this is what I do with the fact that I was proposing in two of its stations in British Columbia, Whistler Blackcomb and Panorama Mountain Resort. Both stations are very good, and both offer the simplest to very complex skis, so I'm sure you were happy with this chain. I included the website so you can get more information about: http://www.intrawest.com/resorts.htm
