Wood filler first choice, but it is a place that gets a lot of shots, Bondo .... yes, good old red neck Bondo. It remains. We form the best you can, if he is flexible when dry sand, and color match or stains. First, a little glob of Bondo or wood filler ... let dry. .. Then test the color of your arrival, to make it over to the sofa. I have recently been some rebuilding and doors have been repaired to the old .. Putty timber that we use in small areas, Bondo, more or areas are often beaten .... .. big

You can buy epoxy putty. A brand is Quikwood. Mix, polished press into the cavity and using a credit card, soapy water and a litle old. Arena when it was created (approximately 20 minutes). Then paint or spray with a toner cartridge.

You can also fill Bondo or wood pulp, which is very similar (with polyester).

I use both, but especially the epoxy.
